Filtration Systems, Inc. was founded in 1980 by Richard Bayerlein, P.E. and his son, Doug, who holds a BSME. The Bayerleins have extensive experience in the filtration industry, and are the creators of the "Swirl Flow" patent, which combines high flow rates and exceptional dirt-holding capacity in a depth-type filtration cartridge.
